Today, we’re excited to announce the next version of platform, Server Backup Manager 6 (SBM 6), is available now!
SBM’s new dashboard allows you to see the health of your entire backup environment in a single screen with notifications, active jobs, backup status, underlying server disk IO, memory and CPU utilization. Other features and enhancements include:
- Simplified navigation so most common actions are driven from the protected machine
- A simple form to add new protected machines and set retention policies
- An area to record and share notes regarding protected machines
- Improvements to MySQL database restore performance—restores are now 10x faster!
- Alerting and reporting can now leverage Gmail and Office365
- Retention policies for site-to-site replication are now also applied to the target SBM
- Enhanced support for Linux Kernel 3.10—Linux Kernels 3.19 through 4.4 are supported in beta mode
